Historically, the human form has been revered as an object of beauty or covered and concealed as something to be ashamed of.  Thomas More in Dark Nights of the Soul  wrote "the unveiling of the body is also the unveiling of the soul because the body is the soul.  To allow the body to be seen in its nakedness to say nothing of being touched and embraced, is to show the soul in all its glory and complexity."  The inherent beauty of the human form, with an emphasis on sensuality, power, and strength, is explored.
